I specialise in writing copy and content for coaches, consultants and strategists with a mission.
Having spent 11 years as a VA (virtual assistant), I can also help small businesses find the words to sell what they do.
Here’s a little bit more about me..
I’m originally from Nottingham and now live in Stamford, Lincolnshire.
I’m an introvert who loves nothing more than to curl up under a blanket, listening to the rain with a cup of coffee (ahh, bliss...). At the weekend, you’ll often find me going off on ‘adventures’ with my husband and two little boys, encouraging them to explore the outdoors and fall in love with nature. Family is my number 1 priority.
Before I was a Writer, I spent 11 years as a Virtual Assistant, helping business owners with the day-to-day running of their businesses - from Admin, Bookkeeping, Copywriting, Marketing (& everything else in between). In 2023 I decided to specialise in writing and I love being in my happy place every day!
I’m an academic at heart. You’ll often find me with a book in my hand, learning about something or other! I completely relate to that drive for growth that business owners have. I share that desire to progress and move forwards and look at life as a journey (ok, I know some people hate that word, but it’s true!).
If you really want to market your business ethically (without the sleaze), you may be worried that if you outsource, the content won’t be high quality or sound like you. But if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s this: I’m a detail-oriented person.
During the onboarding process, I ask lots of questions about you and your business, so I can really get to the heart of things. This enables me to turn your ideas into words that capture attention, resonate and inspire action (all while making sure they sound like you!)
Also, integrity is really important to me, so if you’re worried about quality, please rest assured: it’s not done until you’re happy with it.
What kind of things can I help you write?
Want to see my portfolio? No problem! Send me an email and I'll send it over.
You might have become self-employed to improve your work/life balance (I know that’s a crucial factor for me!). However, perhaps you’re struggling to spin all the plates and end up working more hours than you were before!
Your business card should read: Chief Executive. Head of Marketing. Tech Support. Customer Service. Social Media Manager. And the person who fixes the printer!
As a result, your content and copy is being written in the tiny pockets of time you have here and there. You never get around to writing a blog post every week. And the sales page for your new course has been ‘nearly done’ for weeks (if not months). Don’t even mention all the unfinished drafts lying around!
I don’t blame you! It’s so much more than putting words on a page. Plus, maybe writing isn’t your thing, and the thought of sitting down to write a blog post is as exciting as watching paint dry.
If so, this is your permission slip to stop doing it all yourself - you don’t have to do it on your own, and you don’t have to spend hours learning about it when you’d rather spend that time making money within your business!
The great thing about hiring a freelancer is you only pay for what you need and want - whether that’s an email sequence, a lead magnet funnel or a blog post.
My all-inclusive packages give you everything you need in one place: writing, design + the tech side (uploading/scheduling).
You can claw back precious time and get the marketing content you need, and I get to spend my days writing - it’s a win-win!
Let’s chat about what you need.
We can then book in a free, no obligation 20-minute discovery call to plan the next steps. (I can also talk to you via email, if you prefer).
If you’d like to proceed, I’ll send over your proposal, contract to sign and a payment link for the first payment.
I’ll ask you everything I need to know, so that I can get cracking on your copy!
Well-written content and copy takes time and skill, but so does everything else in your business! The juggle is real!
The result? Writing becomes a chore and you’re pulling your hair out.
That’s where I come in. You don’t have to do it all. Let’s get the writing covered, so you can focus on what you do best.
